Bryan Roby, Assistant Professor of Judaic Studies at the University of Michigan and author of The Mizrahi Era of Rebellion: Israel's Forgotten Civil Rights Struggle 1948-1966 (2015) will discuss the Israeli Black Panther movement and other Mizrahi protest movements in Israel. Co-sponsored by the Center for Comparative Race and Ethnicity.
